Kendy grew up in the farm fields and mountains of central Pennsylvnia on a Guernsey dairy cattle farm. She now lives in Berlin, Germany.

Influenced by Neko Case, Joni Mitchell, Nick Drake and Leonard Cohen there is an honesty and depth in her lyrics.

In 2010 she moved to Brooklyn, NY and played at many great venues across New York City including: Joe’s Pub, Pete’s Candy Store, Rockwood Music Hall, Barbes, Jalopy Theatre, the Rockshop, Sidewalk Cafe, Postcrypt Coffee House, and Pianos.

Kendy released her second album titled, „Always, Somewhere, It is Morning“ on July 11, 2014. The album was recorded and mixed by Andy Baldwin (St. Lucia, Elle King, Foster the People, Bonaparte) of Rola Pola Studios in Brooklyn, NY and mastered by Brian Lele of Santa Cecilia Sound in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Her newest album, ‚The Knowledge of the North Woods‘ will be released in 2017.
